Fake tires? 17 inch "stock" Bridgestone Turanza El42

So after reading an article on the forums about tire age, I went out to check the age of my tires. I searched everywhere on the damn things and cannot find the "DOT" text which signals me to wonder if they have fakes floating around. I bought these off of Ebay from a pretty reputable dealer and got a good price on the stock 17'' rims and tires which claimed to be new take-offs. After doing some research on these tires I also noticed that the DOT and serial number should be under the "bridgestone" which I do not have. Is there something that I am missing on these tires, or can someone with knowledge of these tires help clue me in please? thanks

All Tires in the US are required to have DOT numbers. The DOT numbers are only indicated on one side of the tire and can be hard to see. Depending on how the tire is mounted it may be on the front or rear of the tire. Here's a link that may help.

I guess I will just look when I rotate my tires, maybe they are on the other side. I just wanted to make sure that I did not get ripped off, thanks!
