Question about brakes

In the Nissan altima 2005 service manual, there are two sections for front brakes, labeled:

CLZ25VD

and

CLZ25VE

My car's an Altima 2005 2.5 S (extra). Which section for the front brakes do I follow?

Thanks!

My bad, i'll remember for next time. I can't seem to find your post about the brakes being either CLZ25VE or CLZ25VD. Could you link me?

Thanks!

Hey, so i got my wheels off and checked my brakes, turns out the pads are pretty meaty so i'll leave them unchanged for now. However, the tape on the pads (outer surface) were kind of melted and sticking on the pad (worn out) when i removed the caliper, and when I put the caliper back i just took them off. Is this ok? Should I put them back on? It was hard for me to put the caliper back on because of the tape, which was why i removed it. Should i compress the piston back in a bit to make it easier to put the caliper back on with the tape on the pads? Will the piston come back when I pump my brakes? Thanks!

does the pads have the metal shims ?

you should compress the piston just a little to make putting the pads back easier , after your all done pump the brakes a few times till you get a firm pedal .
