Altima caliper bolts torqued to 90#, should I be worried?

I had the calipers unbolted to get to the rotors on my 09Altima. I could not find torque data for the caliper bolts (the big 22mm bolts) so when I reattached the calipers I torqued the bolts to 90ft/lbs. It was a guess based on how hard it was to get them loose in the first place.

I've since discovered a table that states they should be torqued to 113 ... should I pull the wheels and snug them up to this level or would they be fine as they are? It's not a huge deal to snug them up ... I just need to drive across town to borrow a friends jack and stands so that I can do it safely.

Thanks ...

BTW, just new to this forum and I have to say what a great group of contributor I'm finding here!

With a safety feature like brakes, yes, always tq to the specs listed. Sometimes it will be within a range, like between 80ft lbs-108ft lbs. When only a single value is given, tq to that value.

No! Those I torqued to 20# ... 90# would probably shear them off!

It was easy to find torque settings for those bolts ... not so easy for the caliper bolts, oh well ... got to put it up on jacks again today to snug them all the way to 113.
