2005 Nissan X-Trail

No thread for this in the trucks area.......

I'm looking into a small, 4 cyl, all wheel drive sport utility for a second automobile. Does anyone own or had experience with the Nissan X-Trial? I have test driven everything in it's segment (save the little land rover) and the X-Trail is one of my top picks. X-Trial has a great ride, good power, huge sun roof (seriously it's freaking huge) and a well designed cargo area. Much better than Rav4, Escape or Equinox.

Opinions?

they dont sell the X-trail in the US, the closest thing we have is the Xterra, which is pretty similar.

^ Xterra is a true truck. Xtrail is a car base SUV a la CR-V/RAV4.

But it is the most off road worthy of the car based SUV. If it weren't for the center guages, I would buy one.

I got an X-Trail & love it, central gauges are no problem, I also drive a Sentra without any trouble.

X-ty is at up to now one of the best cars sold at Mexico, Canada & Australia.

They're considering bringing the X-Trail to the U.S., at least the fuel cell version...
