Thumbs up FINALLY!!! A Nissan Truck Forum! WOOHOO!!

Now I do all my forum browsing in one place. Thanks for adding the forum!

I just gave our CC it's 1st oil change today. It's strange the Frontier 4.0L V6 uses the same oil filter as our Altima SE-R. I bought a 10 pack of Nissan filters from CourtesyNissan.com. Oil change on the truck wasn't too bad, although having the filter at the front of the engine is strange.... There is an access port that requires you to remove 2 bolts on the front skidplate below the filter. Truck holds 5 3/8 quarts of oil, which is quite a bit for a filter as small as the one they use.

Our super black 2k5 4X4 LE CC Frontier smut shots!

TY!!! It has around 1500 miles on it so far... Pretty good performance considering how heavy / big it is, although I've been keeping it under 4krpms during breakin and am just now starting to see what it can do. The Rockford Fosgate MP3 6 disk system is pretty good. More bass than the Bose in the Altima, but missing in other areas. Nice thing about the radio location is DVD Navigation upgrade later will look sweet. I've seen a few double DIN headunits. Have to hide the DVD reader for the Nav else where, but would be a nice future upgrade.

I hope to see some interior mods/kits show up sometime, as the interior is kind of bland. I still like it, and the wife like power passenger seat. Seats are very comfortable compared to our Altima. Mileage running mixed 50/50 city/highway has been 17-18MPG.

So far we've added the grill and hood protector and Nissan stainless license frames. Since the wheels have tire pressure monitoring system I'm wondering how that will effect wheel upgrades in the future?? Over all is a nice feature I guess to have.

Cheers,

VG

The T and F have a lot in comon. Comparing this to a Ford Ranger, it isn't mini at all!! I looked at them all... Nothing American came close to features/performance/price. The only competitor in reality is Toyota Taco. The back seat is very comfortable and roomy compared to most of the competition.

Hell, the Fronty compares very good to middle of the road Ford F150's.

Nice T btw Nismom!

Thanks!

I have nothing against the Frontier-it would be my ONLY choice for a midsize or V6 truck; I was just able to get the T for the same price, if not cheaper so I had to go for it.

I would have gotten a T, but only thing that held me back was size. I refuse to let our cars sit out in the rain, so it had to fit our garage.

DOH!!! I'm guessing you don't live where it rain 6-8 months out of the year... Least here in Portland, OR area it does.

I wanted a white Fronty, but couldn't find one.. Man they were moving those trucks when I was trying to find one.

Oh well, black is ok I guess, except is a beyoch to clean and keep looking nice. I've been a long time user of California Dusters for past 12 years. Heck, I even have the smaller interior version of the duster for the dash...

Cheers,

VG

Nissan really hit it big with the new Frontier, Xterra, and Pathfinder. They're everywhere, especially that new Pathfinder...

No, we have nice winters but not like that. Not that I would mind! I'm SUCH a winter person! Bring on the rain/snow/clouds/gloom/hail/sleet/thunder/lightning!!

I'm even thinking of moving to Colorado.

Yeah... At work this week I noticed a brand new Pathfinder that was super black parked near my fronty! Is nice to see folks jump up and switch to Nissan now, since the domestics are so pathetic when compared to the Nissan lineup.

I do and I believe we even got it worse up here in the Olympia/Lacey area. Welcome to the board BTW....
