SC Tires/Rims

I refuse to by the Firehawk CSA02 (P265/55R17) tires that fit these damn 17" rims. I'm having a helluva time figuring out how to downsize to 16" rims so that I can buy a quality tire for this truck. Tried Dobbs, Autotire, TireRack, NTB, Sears, and a couple of other local joints. Every place says the rims they have match the the bolt pattern, but the center cap may or may not fit. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Don't know if this helps or not, but if you can move up to a 265/65/17, I just put on Goodyear Forterra triple treads on my wife's 06's Xterra SE. So far with about 500 kms on them, they feel WAY better than the BFGoodrich rugged terrain that they are replacing. Feel absolutely planted while driving. Can't wait to see how they react when the snow starts flying (which should be soon)

I ran 275-55-17's on mine ... Pirelli scorpion 0's .... I would look into falken ....I have run them on my SC when I went to 18" wheels ... and now run them on my '06 Pathfinder and love them ....

either the S/TZ-01 or S/TZ-04 Both have a 275-60-17 ... would be a tad bit taller ... but it may be worth it to get a better tire ...

Or go look up 275-55-17 on Tire rack , there are a bunch .....Or even 255-60-17 ...

Yea , the Firehawks SUCK ....

If you really want to go to 16" , any 6x139 wheel with the larger center hub will fit , any 6 lug 16" OE Nissan wheel ( other than the Armada/Titan and '05 up ) wheels will fit .... I had 15's for my snow tires ....
