2005 Pathfinder engine light

New member here with a question. I have a 2005 Pathfinder that just this morning shows a Check Engine Light along with the VDC Off and Slip lights lit as well. I don't have a dealer nearby so was wondering if this is indicative of some sort of planned maintenance or something. Mileage is 55.8K and it has been serviced regularly.
