Short? In '94 Nissan Pickup

Hello, I have a '94 Nissan pickup which runs great except for a couple of problems that have started just recently. When you turn the lights on, they both work. However, when you turn the brights on, the passenger side comes on fine BUT the driver side does NOT come on at all.

And at about the same time, the horn stopped working. When I press the horn, it sometimes sounds for a few seconds, but ALWAYS blows the fuse.

I've tried new bulbs, tracking down wiring, I just don't know what to do... Any ideas?

had same problem. checked everything! It finally ended up being the turn signal switch. found it for 10 bucks at a junkyard.
