Try going to reputable Nissan dealer and ask about your problem, or you may go to Nissan website and you can ask questions to their customer service, they are the one who knows better, from Nissan truck parts to the right and proper seat for your truck and accessories. Honestly I'm planning to contact my dealership. I'm gonna tell you if they have one...

Please do not go to the stealership, they will rape you. Find a local JY and find a Pathfinder or a kingcab truck. Like was already mentioned, they are a direct swap. A friend of mine swapped in buckets from a Maxima into his Pathfinder, not a direct swap, just a little fabrication to make them fit.

Pathy seats are a good direct swap for the back-killing bench seat.

Dealer for a 96 .... they will laugh at you ... or just charge you huge $$ to put in another bad seat ....

Best option is to find a nice set of Pathfinder Buckets or if you need the Bench , go to a good upholstery shop and they can rebuild the seat how you want .!!

I'm sure by now you've found a fix to your problem, but I have to agree with the others on replacing your bench. My '94 King SE came with buckets with lumbar support. I' have 2 torn discs and degenerative disc disease and I don't mind driving around in my truck. Even though the seats are over 14 years old, they're still pretty comfortable. So if you can find them, I would recommend buckets out of a King cab. Just my two cents worth.
