Flasher unit on 96 truck
Hey,
I have a 96 Nissan truck with a broken blinker light. The lights come on but will not flash, either with the turn signal or the emergency lights. I want to replace the flasher unit to see if that is the problem. My repair manual says it is "under the dash and just above the steering column." Does anybody have a more specific location for me? How do I remove the dash so I can access this area and replace the flasher unit? I am a novice at repair stuff but am a grad student so cannot afford to take it to the shop. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
