Most SER owners are VERY full of themselves. Why did Versa owners buy Versas? They have the most features in their class. They have the most power in their class, and they have the best interior in their class. Heck, I am planning to buy a Versa just because of the amazing fuel economy. Road and Track were experiencing 32.5 MPG with the CVT. Another thing is, they don't need premium fuel. Sure they are not the BEST looking on the outside, they are definitely the best in the inside and have the features.

I hope that answers your question fullthrottle69.

Sure your car is faster than a Versa, lets see who gets further on a single tank of gas. Lets see who saves the most in fuel costs over the entire year. When people buy these cars, its not for their look and speed, its for their fuel economy and sometimes their smaller size (For the large city congested places where parking is more difficult). So next time you run your mouth about the Versa, remember my points.

I think people should just stop worrying about what others drive. I'm buying a Versa because of the great gas mileage and the room! I'm going from 240SX to Versa. My husband & I are trying to have a baby, so I'll be prepared with the new car. I love hatchbacks too. I make frequent trips to IKEA and it's hard to get new stuff in the 240SX or the GTO. It's a pain.

And actually, the Versa's are not ugly. Nissan did a very good job with the design of this vehicle. I think the Aveo and Fit are the ugliest competition to the Versa.

By SER, you guys talking Sentra?

My first two Nissans were Sentras - an 83 and a 93. I loved them. But the current Sentra is a misstep, IMO, for the simple reason that it puts form over function - mainly in how you can't see jack to the front sides. I prefered the last generation Sentra over what's being sold now.

The way things are, the Versa is the only Nissan I'd seriously consider. The new Altimas are nice, of course, but they're just a bit too big for my taste and need.

i bought a versa because it's the most fuel efficient of the compact cars out there right now that aren't hybrids.

hybrids are a pain in the ass to maintenance. there are 2 people i work with that have prius and when theirs broke (around the same times too), it took almost 2 weeks for the dealership to have them fixed because they had to send away for parts.
that's crazy! i couldn't even imagine that!!

I have a 2007 NIssan Versa Hatchback with Intellikey and Bluetooth and the whole nine yards. I have had to take it in to the shop 3 different times because the right drivers side speaker keeps malfunctioning, and buzzing. The dealer deemed it to a low battery in the intellikey. They changed the battery, and ordered us a BRAND NEW intellikey. The last time I had it fixed was less than 2 weeks ago. Today, it happened again. For the 4th time. Has anyone else had a problem with the Versa or any other Intellikey vehicle?
