User-created signatures will disqualify you from the contest.
So this is saying that my signature disqualifies me from the contest? How exactly does this work? Are contestants simply required to remove it if they make it to the qualifying round? Or would having the signature keep them from even being allowed into the qualifying round?

A forum tag and/or signature will be provided to contestants that make it through to the qualifying and finalist rounds. These forum tags and/or signatures will not be provided during the qualifying round. User-created signatures that explicitly solicit or campaign for votes will disqualify you from the contest.
