man, it seems the NOTM has been forgotten since it was stopped for re-tooling a few months ago. i didnt even know it was back in action. w/o the announcement at the top of the threads like CHIP used to do, alot of people are not going to see this thread at all. 17 votes.. thats a very low count. my ramblings aside, i vote for midnight for his deep lip.

CHiP has put the announcement up, and I even started threads in a lot of the different forums to try to promote NOTM. It's too bad, one person complained about the format, so we changed it, and now the complainer doesn't even visit this site any more. We used to have 20 plus cars each month enter. Participation needs to improve for this contest to live on...

That's where the problem is. You never asked (maybe did and i missed it) for other ppl input.

Sometime when i vote i don't want to keep coming back over and over but this formate forces ppl to come by 3 time which gets old after 1st time around.

I was actually AGAINST this new format, and I made it clear (amongst fellow staff members) that we shouldn't change it just because one entrant felt he was cheated (which wasn't the case).

Thats not a bad idea. If you don't mind me asking, who was it that complained about it? and what was his main complaint?

i for one think the new format blows. its hard enough to have someone come here n vote, but expecting them to come back a few times to get the final vote in isnt realistic imo. i would like to know who complained also, but im sure u guys wont give that info out. so that means if i complain about something you guys will change it? lol.

That's what started this new format. I don't know why he got so upset because the first time he entered, he wasn't selected. Before I became a mod, I entered, and sometimes I didn't get randomly selected either....
