I understand things like that. I'm talking about the people who only post in the intro threads, and the notm thread. No other or maybe only one other activity. But we may change some of those rules next year.

Some more info

I took the 09 Intake manifold and gutted it. Making it a "SSIM" this is popular with the older vq manifolds so i decided to try it with this 09 setup!

With the manifold being plastic it presented a few challenges but I was able to figure it out and get the manifold SSIM'd and sealed back up using a plastic welder!

Here is comparing the older TB mount point on the intake to the newer 09.

73mm vs 78mm 09 FTWWWWWW

Comparing 09 and 02 intake ports on the heads:

47 vs 52 ! again 09 FTWWWWWWWWW

This is what makes it all work! In older VQ cars with the grey plug ecu!

This also runs the EVT system completely on its own!

Haha yeah, that part was easy actually!

Its funny you say that because my next adventure might be to swap in the CVT. Yea i know a lot of people hate CVT but from a performance standpoint it will be faster in the 1/4 mile if the trans is tuned correctly. Also it will improve MPG and city driving experience.

Ill keep my 6 speed setup and probably switch between 6spd and cvt every so ofter. I'm anticipating the cvt trans swap will be a lot harder then the 09VQ Swap was.

Your car bro, but that sounds like a waste.

Why not pickup another Maxima and keep this one as is?
