Just got done with a Infiniti I35 cluster swap! Its working 100% Dimmer and all!

One of my Maryland Maxima friends asked me if i could figure out how to make the cluster work in a 02 Maxima! So I used my car to figure out which wires needed to be moved to make the cluster work. Working on it only in my spare time I just got working 100% yesterday!

I'm working on a wiring diagram for anyone wanting to use a cluster like this.

With black interior the tinted lens looks so clean!

Lol well it is a rare, expensive color but I'm shopping around & doing my research for a good paint shop that isn't outrageously expensive.

Mad nice cars on this one! Kinda glad in a way I didn't win the month I entered lol, cuz I have a lot of work to still do ... I need to sit on this for a while before I vote ...

Surra, I really like what you have done. But I kinda think you should keep the 6spd in still. Perhaps a CVT could be faster, but you need to re-program/flash the TCM to do that, have an idea of how to maybe do it but it'd be real complicated as you need to write a new software update from my thinking... I dont know of anyone who has done that.

Yeah that cvt stuff is way future plans! I'm just wanting to mess around with it and learn more about the system and what I can do to make it better. If there was a way to adjust the cvt computer then some improvements could come from that in MPG and Racing aspects.

Im one of the VERY FEW thats interested in the CVT.

Funny thing is CVT was banned from F1 racing.

people need to stop thinking all CVTs are the same. CVT in F1 is nowhere near the same as CVT for an midlevel family sedan.

? I wasn't implying that the nissan CVT is the same as this f1 cvt i spoke of at all.....

The technology of CVT is where the future is going. For both efficiency and power cvt is where its at. That's what i'm interested in.

waiting till the end like others to vote, but im voting strictly on performance mods this time around, as almost everyone tends to be leaning towards styling mods. surratt and critical, its between you guys for me.

Well that's unfortunate because there aren't a lot of performance mods for my 07 2.5 altima, I've got most of what i can other than a lightweight pulley and maybe a rear sway bar or other negligible things. And also isn't exactly worth it to do performance mods on a 2.5. Lol looks based mods is what I'm counting on to win this but hey your vote is your personal preference and i totally understand that

Getting very close to the end here and is still super tight, this is giving me heart palpitations lmao

i know this, thats why its up to the 2 guys i mentioned. the altima platform in general is lacking of an after market, so people tend to have very similar and limited performance mods. thats why i appalud critical with his engine build and surratt with his unique engine swap for doing something different and out of the box. in a competition with 12 entries, things like that set them apart imo.

Tried my best to show off my baby With the winter rims on because of the seasons changing in Toronto, (Lol wasn't prepared to have more pictures of my summer look) But even still I hope this can convice you all to help me win!

To all my fellow nissanclub members, thank you for your votes and consideration. I didn't think I would stand a chance with my crazy competition but I gotta thank everyone for keeping me up there. Good luck to everyone on the home stretch!!!
