I think it's time to be realistic and decide what are we going to do.
I don't think we can deny the fact that today is friday and the weather report on both Accuweather.com and Weather.com pretty much says heavy rain for the entire day on Saturday.
Chris may have the right idea when he decided to drop out. Caravaning 3+ hours is not the safest thing to do in heavy rain. I don't want someone sliding off the road and winding up in a ditch on the way up to Grafton.
So let's discuss this.

Commuting isn’t sexy. In fact, I don’t think commuting even qualifies as cool in most people’s book. Which is kind of odd when you consider just how much dedication is required to slog your ass to work day in and out—dodging errant SUVs and potholes, only to arrive at the office slathered in a thick mucous-y slop. That, in my book, is pretty damn hardcore..
i think rev d should take action seeing as how so many people are dropping out
either modify the meet so that much of it happens indoors or reschedule it or something.
in any case, i'm about to come home from pittsburgh. i figure the NY/LI crew will do something on its own if most of us decide that it's not a good idea to go. we're cool like that
Yeah, as much as i hated to drop out, because i really really wanted to meet alot of people, i get very nervous having to drive in heavy rain for hours and hours. I've done it before and it sucks. I rather be safe and stay home.
IMO, it's too late for rev D to change much. It really sucks this happened, he put so much work into this meet
And yeah, sunday was out of the questionf or me. The only way i was staying overnight was if i crashed at a friends dorm and left early sunday morning to get back here. Too much crap to do before monday.
You missed an awesome meet, and it stopped raining about an hour into it. We did 80-120 the entire 5-hour trip from RI/Mass in the rain, next time suck it up and go!!
