Nah,it shouldnt,from what I have read,the repaired/newer 360's have an extra heatsink added to them to help with the heat issues they have.

I have had mine since Nov06,but the repair center is in my state so my wait will be a bit shorter than most when mine does go down.

I'm on my third one.

Their third party support had the nerve to call me, saying they had to refer me to a special "unit" because this was my third return. I was like, well, if you send me a quality product I wouldn't be on my third one. I got one right back with the same ring of death.

After 1 year of having 360, I finally got a router and went on to live for the first time ever. I'm HOOKED now...lol

Just got my 360 since halo 3 is coming out...

I play ncaa 08 and halo 2 right now. Will be halo 3 on Tuesday.

^And so it begins...I just dropped my 5 bucks preorder on HALO 3,I will be at the store by 10pm Monday night cause the 'midnight drop' line is gonna be huge.
