What fuking idiot let's their 6 yr old kid fly by himself anyway! Damn I don't understand some peoples child rearing methods!
That's the first thought that came to my head. How are you going to let a 6 yr old child, that probably can't tie their own shoes, fly on a plane alone. If you don't have the money to fly yourself then don't send the kid

Hang on a second there turbo, my sister used to fly solo that young to visit our dad in CA. But then again, we were relatively well behaved at that age.

My guess: Parents knew about the tantrum and handed over the parenting duty to the flight attendant. They probably were thinking of boarding the NEXT plane.

yeah, I traveled alone a couple times when I was a kid (well, once alone and once with my sister, 3 years older) but I don't think I could do it with my kids

I flew by myself when I was 5-6 years old too. I was a good little boy and the flight attendents liked me and thought I was cute and all.
