Early Christmas gifts are the shhhhh....

..so I got an XBOX 360 as an early Christmas gift from the wife and kids back in the beginning of November, wife cam home and dragged me to go rent a small U-HAUL in order to pick up a surprise at her uncles house, she would not tell me what it was until we got to his house...

Get to his house to see a 61" Sony HDTV ready for us to roll out the house.Took all of ten minutes to get it loaded and as SOON as we dropped of the U-HAUL I raced home to hook it up and move the old entertainment stand out the way....

Quick pic of said TV,didnt have a penny handy and the plastic storage bin will be moved once we do a bit more creative moving of furniture. The 360 and cable box were hooked up in minutes, nothing better than shooting someones head off and watching the blood hit the wall in RB6:Vegas in 1080i.

Hmmm, got to work and found out we will be getting bonus checks today, this is turning out to be a very very nice Christmas after all.I forget to mention, the TV was free,no issues whatsoever, all I paid for was the U-HAUL which was 40 bucks.Fantastic.

I worked 24 of the available 30 days in November in order to pay off the new ceramic tile floors installed last summer and the new garage door parts mini-overhaul,damn good to see my family appreciates my efforts cause it was hard to give up that much OT money just for bills,I wanted some Rota Polished Slipstreams, but bit the bullet and paid what needed to be paid.

Anyone else got any early gifts they want to share?

I need one of those.

After googling the model number it has quite a few features I can toy with,PIP,split-screen from two different input devices, blah blah blah,I just need to score an orig remote for it now.
