So yeah... today I started my roadtrip for Kansas State.
As most of ya'll know my taillights are blacked out LED's and my headlights and foglights are both 8000K HID's.
Let me remind you I have had no trouble for any of the above mentioned mods since I've had them. I have also never been pulled over... welll...
I'm driving in Oklahoma City at like 9 tonight... I'm following my parents and my radar starts going off. I slow down to below the speed limit and see a cop car chillin under the overpass. I watch it in my rear view pull out and kind of follow me. Then he speeds up and starts tailing me. At this point Im like what the hell man. I'm also in a construction zone on the 8 lane freeway... and then he turns on his lights. So I have to wait a couple minutes to get out of the construction zone to pull over. I pull over... and my parents do as well farther up along the shoulder. He gets out of the car and walks up and says... good evening... I say it back and he continues walkin to check out the front of my car. Looks at it and walks to the rear.. and looks at it as well. He comes to the door and says the normal cop BS and asked me to go sit in his car for a sec... He says my taillights are blacked out and they are illegal and my headlights are blue which is illegal as well. I was wondering how long it took before I got pulled over for all of this... over a year to this day. He ended up asking me what I was doing in Oklahoma and I told him about my moving to KSU and he said good luck with baseball and all that... and ended up giving me a warning.
I think it's pretty funny how on my first night going to my new home... I get my first time to be pulled over/ my first warning/ and my first time to hear the amazing words...
"Son, your taillights are black, and your headlights are bright blue"
Hell yeah my taillights are black and my HID's are blue! Thanks for noticing!
Don't worry guys... nothing on my car will be changed due to this...

he didn't give you a ticket because they arent illegal. blue lights are illegal only if they blink and as long as red is visible when you brake(translucent paint) you should be good on those as well. at least thats the law in TN.
you didn't get a ticket because you don't live in Oklahoma. If you did, he would have probably given you a ticket but since you don't you can argue with him that it's legal in the state you do live in, and who is he to argue?
you would get your saftey inspection scrapped off and you'd pay a pretty hefty fine if it were in hawaii. in addition to that, probably a lot of fix it tickets...
