I'm at the tire shop right now, and I'm trying to figure out why do rich women wear such ugly gawdy rings. This womans ring is horrible. But she has a nice Maserati

Conspicuous consumption. The rings are big just so you are aware of her presence and wealth.

The wifes Grama had some of those. Family Heirlooms very old. Mostly cheepos with the occasional very expensive one.

I work every weekend, and I like it better than the weekdays because it's quieter. It just got better though because my best friend and I both work in the same factory and we just realized we could talk on the phone all day via our inline mics on our headphones (normally we listen to music all day). Most people complain about the background noise, but we have no problem tuning it out. We used to work a couple of feet from each other and they put us on separate ends of the shop after a couple of years so we wouldn't talk all day. Now we can talk and work at the same time. Fück the system!
