Hulk Hogan's Son Sentenced to Eight Months in Jail

CLEARWATER, Fla. — A judge in Florida says the 17-year-old son of wrestler Hulk Hogan should serve eight months in jail for reckless driving.

Nick Bollea was led off to begin his sentence immediately after the ruling Friday afternoon. He will also be on five years of probation and lose his driving privileges for three years.

Authorities say in August, Bollea was racing a friend in his father's sports car when he clipped a curb, spun out of control and slammed into a palm tree.

The impact left his friend, John Graziano, critically injured and in need of lifetime medical care.

Bollea pleaded no contest to the reckless driving charge.

Guess the dream of being a race car driver is put on hold.

Ridiculous sentence. Eight months for street racing?? Give me a break. We have all done that shit...most with passengers who usually instigated it.
Save prison for violent offenders and pedophiles.

Besides the fact that he turned his friend into a vegetable, he had atleast 3 other major (not minor 5mph over) speeding tickets and problems with the law. He deserved everything he just got and definitely deserved more

street racing = probation or a license suspension

critically injuring someone = jail

besides, the 8 months will easily become 4 months with "good behavior"

While I somewhat agree with cpo, if that happened to one of my kids.....Hulk Hogan would be attending his sons funeral. He was out of control, he is young and thought he was unstopable like we all thought we were at that age. 8 months seems minor, but I think it may just do the trick in his case
