RIP
Always a big loss when a contributing member and active person in the scene passes.

I didn't particularly know the man but I did see him post around here. It's a horrible feeling to know they're gone. RIP
And as for the few comments here about the actual accident and speed being involved, come on guys, give it a rest. It can happen to anyone, anywhere. Would it have made you feel better if he had a blow-out on the front? He hit a bad spot and lost it, unless it turns out he was doing upper triple digits, that's a sucky situation to be in and it can have very very bad outcomes even at 40mph.

^Agreed, because I find myself doing 90ish on that very stretch of highway going from/to home each day sometimes. It's just the normal flow honestly, everyone is doing in upwards of 80ish - 90ish in certain spots. Again R.I.P Mike & GF!!!

this can happen to anyone...when the rain just starts the roads are slick as hell. i have a buddy who lives in Nashville, and i visit him every so often and he visits me every so often. if i would have known Mike lived in Nashvegas (i often dont pay attention to where people live when its on a board...) i would have arranged to meet him in person. now i know that will never happen...but he was a cool dude.

RIP...thoughts go out to the families.

Also for anyone that hasn't heard, the family doesn't want flowers.

New request from his parents!!!

ANYONE that will be attending the funeral, you are requested to come to his parents' house. They want the HONOR & PLEASURE of meeting everyone that knew or knew of Michael. I will not post their address but if anyone wants directions or the address email me. If you just want to meet up with me afterwards, I will lead the caravan to their home.

Also, Michael hated suit and ties, his parents have requested that NO ONE dress formal clothing. Tees, polos, khakis, jeans, whatever. IF you have any FOX RACING Gear, please wear whatever you have. I have confirmed this, that is their wishes. I just went out and bought a brand new suit, tie, shirts, shoes. LOL Michael always had a way of spending my money.
