According to a friend that was there - Mike and his gf were following a friend of hers on a motorcycle when Mike got cut off. He slowed down to avoid hitting the guy, then was speeding up to catch the friend on the bike when he lost control. The friend saw him go off and turned around but the other people that got there first wouldn't let him go to where Mike was.
Josh, feel free to make any corrections if I'm remembering this wrong.
Nope sounds good to me. Still kills me that he is gone. Kind of a scary thought that the Saturday it happened was my first day back to work. I work 4 days on/4 days off. I missed being in that car or behind him by less than 24 hours. I'm still at a loss for words and thoughts sometimes.

Ive been on the boards for a long time and have seem threads up from time to time by him.. He always seemed cool and down to earth. My condolenscences out to him and his gf's family...
For the locals, or anyone who wants to go - don't forget the meet/cruise/BBQ is tomorrow!
As soon as I get pics, I will load them on here. We had about 70 cars show up to Tenn Speed Sport and about 55-60 cars roll up to his parents' home.
It was great. I promise you Shandi, I got ya covered. I know for a fact my photographer got 350 pics. so depending on what came out well, I may kill bandwidth like a mother!

much easier than to kill bandwidth. This is from another guy on SSI, this is not the pictures that my buddy Casey took. He has over 350. Those I am still waiting on. We just had IA this past weekend. Casey and I were in a booth dedicated to Michael so he has a huge amount of pictures from that as well.
We have the dedication this coming weekend from a buddy in GA opening a shop/dealership. All the proceeds made that day go to Michael's parents.
Also we are still selling stickers. Made over $500 so far, all of it goes to the parents. If anyone wants to donate, its 2/$5 or whatever you want to donate to them.
