So sad... Though I didn't know him personnaly, I would like to offer moral support to those who were close to him. Loosing a friend is a shitty thing to go through... Don't be offended by the reporter who talked about alcohol or drugs being invoved, they did not know him and they say that about every car crash... It was nothing personnal. You who knew and were close to him have the previlege of remembering a good person and a safe driver. And while some urge us to be careful when we speed, I recken, let's not forget that Altimas aren't sports cars no matter what gen it is, what transmisison it's got or what badge is pinned to the trunk lid. Let's drive smart and not loose anymore members.
Mike, may your destination find you well.

Michael drove a turboed 2001 Lexus IS300 with a full engine rebuild.
He had 418 whp, it was more than a sports car.

^^Yes thanks, I know that. That isn't what I meant... Most of us on this forum do drive Altimas. I meant it as a reminder to us Altima drivers. And especially to myself who tends to have a bit of a heavy right foot with a bone stock Altima. It just got me thinking that's all... And I felt like sharing my condolences with people who knew Mike.
Whoa. Wtf. I havent been on here in so long and the day i chose to come back, i saw this bad news. Damn, i really liked the guy. I still cant believe it. My prayers are with is family and friends struggling through this hard time.

Its such a small world. I remember talking to him when I used to post all the time on this forum. I never put 2 and 2 together but after this was mentioned here I realized it was the same Mike I used to talk to on my.is and myspace about turbo IS 300's

I knew Mike very well and it was sad to hear of his passing. Mine and Michael's family go way back and they are a great family. Michael's dad actually lost a brother either a week before or week after Michael's death. So it was a rough time at the time and I'm sure it still is. Michael was a great guy and will be truly missed.

R.I.P.
Keith, Michael's dad, had a brother pass away a week before Michael and his dad pass away maybe 3 weeks after Michael. It's been a rough year for the family. We're making thru but it's hard especially with the holidays around. The inner circle of friends are dealing with it day to day as best we can. Still feels unreal sometimes though.

Wow, I didn't know about the others. Please give my regards to Michael's family and let them know he is not forgotten here. I think about him every day.
