i didn't see "Two Lane Blacktop" listed, good old school flick. "The Car" was a cool horror/car flick. I bought some 6 dollar DVD collection that is called "Burnt Rubber," it is loaded with all kinds of old, corny auto flicks. I have not watched but a few of them so far, there are like 25 movies on it.

christine is one of my favorite flicks of all time. I just watched it the other day. I will own a 58 fury or coronet someday. I've owned three plymouth furys, a 66, 69, and my first car, a 75. My 66 used to pop out of park and run into things if left running. If you put it in neutral it would pop into drive. If you put it in park or neutral with the parking brake on, it would cause the engine to rise slightly on one side, just enough to pull the accelerator cable. car was a trip.

I gotta ask my dad.
The Wraith. Kickass movie.

I can't believe I didn't mention The Wraith. I love it. Anyone ever notice Brooke Burke working at the hamburger stand? I've watched that movie so many times I can recite every word. Randy Quaid's character is ****ing hilarious. I love the parts of AZ they filmed that movie at. The road to Mt. Lemmon is probably one of the funnest roads I've driven. If I ever hit powerball, I'm having a dodge interceptor built for me

My ALL-TIME fave car show is Cannonball Run, with Burt Reynolds...I dressed up as Cpt. Chaos in my grad year of H.S. VERY few people understood. What a disappointment.

Good thread, in fact I own all of those movies except did anyone mention Ronin....?
I personally have:
Cannonball Run 1 and 2
BTTF (not a car movie but cool car)
Smokey and the Bandit ONE
Gumball Rally
Le Mans
Grand Prix
2 Lane Blacktop (kindof a dark restrospect on 2 drag racing hippies? lost boys?)
BTW, one of the best scenes is when James Taylor (yes the singer) runs the '55 against this guys new stock GTO on the highway at night...amazing
'What're you tryin' to do, BLOW MY MIND?!?'
Love Bug (old Jag is cool and others)
Ronin (don't have but saw the Nitroused Audi scene once)
Original HB Halicki Gone in 60seconds and newer
Newer Italian job (older was ok, but not my fav)
Transporter 1/2 (just heard 3 is out)
Mad Max (chasing down streetbikes was cool even w/a fake blower)
The Wraith

In fact, I'm dropping off the Wraith at the local DVD/CD shop to trade for some music, still in original box/holder....About the only car w/a Chrysler badge that didn't stink back then (except maybe the Shelby, etc turbos)

I know these are all repeats, but if you love car movies, you'll likely love all of these
