Just wondering what movies some of you have liked relating to cars, car chase scenes, or anything in between. What were some of your favorite cars?
Mine Are - Some I linked to IMDB for reference purposes..
1. Blues Brother - (Original) - 2000 Wasn't that good
2. Bullitt - With the special Mustang just reincarnated by Ford recently.
3. Smokey & The Bandit 2 Was also OK, but the third one sucked.
4. Gone in 60 Seconds - (Original) New One is OK
5. The Cannon Ball Run
6. The Vanishing Point
7. The Island - With the sweet Cadillac Sixteen prototype
8. The Bourne Trilogy
9. Live Free or Die Hard
10. Transporter 1&2
So what are some of your favorites, and or cars from them?
All of the above and more (I wouldn't classify #8, 9, & 10 in this category though)...As far as classics are concerned...
At the risk of stating the obvious...
"Cars"
Now that The Boy is old enough to be enlightened by such things, I have had the pleasure of watching it again (and again, and again).
For some reason I loved it.

One of my Favorites ... Two Lane Blacktop ... wicked bad '55 chevy ..( same car but more built up as in American Graffiti which is also a great one )
Transporter is great also ...
Anybody seen the First The Fast and the Furious .... made in 1955 !!

I've seen and have more movies than I care to, and for some reason I've always been a fan of the classic's. I even enjoyed Alfred Hitchcock's "Rear Window" now who can say that. lol
^^ Oh shit I forgot, Christine is awesome!!!! I have the special edition DVD, and I have the original hard cover book that came out in the 80s. Thanks for bringing that up!~!
Fav. Quotes: "She had the smell of a brand new car. And that's just about the finest smell in the world....except maybe for pussy."
" You can't polish a turd"
"Shiters"
Gotta love the Plymouth Fury, that's one nasty ride.

there's this one move I saw a long time ago. I can't remember what it's called. what it was about. or anything. all I remember was there was racing. older cars. and either an alien or some type of cyborg that dominated all.
I feel like there was a Trans Am involved.
I gotta ask my dad.
