i think it was cuz the early altys were OBD1 so they cat to have 2 cats for emissions. my 97 OBD2 went exhaust manifold, big can cat thing, flexpipe, resonator, resonator, muffler. i had a '00 alty that went the same way but the resonators were shaped differenly and welded together instead of separate. i thought it was another cat too till i pulled it off.

^^^ lmfao..

but the nsx.. most fave honda/acura but not too great of a fan of them..

altho.. a lil secret.. if i can find a honda hatchy shell... ill prob take it and built it up.. couple of my friends have some very nice beefed up hondas.. 98 civic supercharged w/9lbs.. rebuilt gsr motor etc..
another ones got full built all motor hatchy rhd.. (probably the sickest car that i enjoy... again none are race cars.. but heck when done right there enjoyable)
and another friend has a hatchy.. everything done possible for bolt ons.. with the best tune he could get.. he's running 14lbs on stock internals...
thts the small list of @least my friends which acutally put some time and money into making them fun etc...

but back too the OP.. get a custom made catback.. youll enjoy tht the most..

yes, it will make your "engine louder" but not in a good way.
if you want it loud, at least make it sound good.
header - cat - resonator - aftermarket muffler - all 2.25 or 2.50 inch and youll be fine.
Jason, don't even bother. This kid is obviously a ricer. He probably had a Civic with a fart can on it before his altima and got sick of being made fun of and crying home to his mommy. He's just some useless wanna be ethuggin fool.
