Want my 96' to get louder

so i have a 96 altima
last summer my cat was rusted and my exhaust was cracked so i bought a flowmaster cat and an OEM replacement catback exhaust.
The car sounds great ever since i installed the cat, exhaust, and a short ram but i want my car to be louder without buying a whole new catback since i just put one on any suggestions?
i heard headers make your car much louder but someone told me you need a performance exhaust if you get a new header.
another said get a new muffler but i dont like the high pitched "fart" sound

drill holes in the pipes. that will definitely make it louder.

Yes a header will make your car louder because it removes the precat. And it bolts up to your stock piping so no you don't have to change your whole exhaust. You will gain more power with newer bigger piping.

Being louder is a side effect of making your car more powerful its not the goal.. well for most of us its not...

No it replaces the precats before the cat. A catback system replaces everything after.
