Aren't we talking about rights guaranteed by the Constitution? Should we also be calling for background checks for voters? What about limiting high capacity speech clips? Maybe limit the number of articles that can be published by an author to one or two a month? Free assembly should be on a may issue basis, meaning you would have to have just cause to assemble, not just because you think you can. Any other rights we should limit?
testing people for mental stability doesn't limit their right to own a firearm. unless ofcourse if you're mentally unstable, then yes your right to own a weapon should be limited.
same way you have to pass driving test before you're allowed on the road, same doesn't apply to purchasing a rifle.

I don't think you realize the amount of power that would be. You don't think for a minute that it would be widely abused/used to disarm people? I think the point to remember is that the trouble is not with the citizens who are trying to play by the rules. The nutcases who have done most of these things have stolen them.
I think society would be better served by focusing energy to treating the known nut jobs rather than trying to infringe on my right to protect me and mine from them.
I want more guns out there personally. People who care enough to carry protection have been shown to be willing and able to protect others as well.
IQ tests for a drivers license should be instated.
I'm all for guns, but SOME people really need to secure their guns better.
Maybe all this gun control is a scapegoat for something else. Why the hell does the DHS need 1.6 billion + rounds of ammunition?
What happened to all the other issues we (the country) were facing before the gun control mess? Out of all the other things this country needs to worry about, with immigration, the economy, etc. We worry about guns? People need to stop thinking with their hearts and use their BRAIN.
We have a well known, easily understood set of facts regarding mass shootings. We know, without question, that a mass murderer who faces no resistance will kill as many people as possible, as quickly as possible. We know most mass shooters will keep killing until they’re forced to stop. We know police won’t respond in time. And yet, some people take that set of facts and conclude that no private citizen should act to defend themselves.
Wow new? Cheap! Yeah a buddy has one and loves his , I had a hard time finding one, people buying up everything soon as hits the store.
I should be shooting it sometime this week.
Yes, New. My front sight damn near fell off after about 250 rounds. Called Ruger they sent me out a brand new slide, fully assembled with the front sight pinned, with a pre-paid envelope to send the old one back. Great service.
Check your front sight and make sure it is pinned...you will know you have a newer batch. Also, they changed a spring or something on the fireing pin due to many light strikes. It has a very long trigger and is hard to shoot well, but lots of practice will help......
