After high school, there's nothing in life to look forward to...life just sucks after, period.
I think there is something to look forward to... MONEY!!!!

I ****ing love school though, I would stay here forever if I could. I'm going to be here for an extra year to get an additional degree and I feel like it was a great decision because even though I will have additional loans, I won't really have the opportunity to do something like college again for the rest of my life.
My liver has been really been thankful this semester (even though this is the semester I turned 21) since I've just had too much work to drink. :-( This summer is going to be a whole different story.
I havent slept really for the past 3 weeks other then maybe a couple hrs every few days ! I'm going on 40hrs of no sleep as of right now and I'm feeling it! Congrats on your 21st B-day! I Have no real fun here, it sucks major a**!

What's your major? Do you have a job or two also? I was like you first year and always seemed to be doing work but never got ahead. I hated college and missed high school. Then I really started managing my time better and now I generally seem to get work done, stay involved on campus, and still have a social life. I never slept the first year (kinda sounds like you) but now I maybe pull a couple of all nighters a semester.
I obviously don't know your situation. I know a couple of students that have 2 jobs on top of college and they obviously can't make time for fun. But if YOU can, do it. I'm not saying become a bum, but being social atleast every now and again doesn't hurt. It really makes the schoolwork and life easier.

Looks like you need the schooling bro
Anyway, our frieshie dorms are dry and everywhere else is wetter than a Kardashian around a black guy...errr...yea, that's about right!
Singles are the best though man. Greatest time of my life honestly.
I'm back in school, and it sucks. 90% of the crap you are learning, i already know i will never use. My Humanities class this semester had me wanting to jump out of buildings
I finished my 2nd year. Not happy about how I did. Going to take a year off to work and see if I even have the drive to go back. Ive always done well learning at a pace that I set for myself then with the schedule that classes set.

For me, a year after graduating high school, I went to Red River College up here in Winnipeg, which is a community college. At the time, I was taking Electrical Engineering Technology, which was basically a 2 1/2 year program, with a 3 1/2 year option for those who didn't have the basics down. I took the longer one because my background in physics were subpar.
5 years later, after numerous subpar efforts, failures, and academic suspensions, I dropped out of the program and switched to the Electronic and Network Technician program. It's only a 1 year program, but so much better and more to my liking, dealing with computers, servers, and networking stuff.
I can't imagine myself going into University and writing term papers that are otherwise bullshit, because you write bullshit. I'm more of a hands-on person, in which I learn that way with practical stuff.
Now I look back to those years I was in engineering and think to myself, why the f**k did I waste my time thinking I would actually go through with it?
I guess the only way to learn your lesson is to really cross the line.

Just the cars you drive/drove and the rate you went through them doesn't scream college student.
Makes sense. I've really more gone back to school rather than being in it this whole time. I've held decent jobs before and don't really overspend outside of the cars.
I'm currently deciding whether to transfer back to the "4 year" University in the fall and attempt to finish my Mechanical Engineering degree there or to transfer to a "3 year" tech school and get the same degree, spend a lot more money, but get hands on training with brand new equipment.
This is my last semester and has been more then a pain. I will be completing my Bachelors in Automotive Technology. I've previously graduated with a Cert. in Exercise Science and have an A.S.S. in Math and Science focusing on anatomy and physiology. Would also would have an A.S.S for auto but told the ppl that screwed me over at my last school to go F-Themselves and started my bachelors program at where I am now. Honestly, If this wasn't one of the best colleges in the U.S for this I wouldn't go here. I literally live in a one traffic light college town where the next town is 15miles away minimum. I thought of picking up the sport of cow tipping to kill time lol!
