**** college. Morristown looks like a great place to make money...

Step 1: Open up a liquor store, gas station, or bar (maybe even a club)
Step 2: Drink on the job. Never have out grow the college kid mindset.
Step 3:Profit.

Sorry that is just my Indian side speaking.

Honestly, If this wasn't one of the best colleges in the U.S for this I wouldn't go here. I literally live in a one traffic light college town where the next town is 15miles away minimum. I thought of picking up the sport of cow tipping to kill time lol!

The Urban Dictionary will hopefully help you see how sad it is here !

Damn sounds like a hideous, horrible place. My semester just ended Tuesday, got a 98, 92 and a 90 on my last three finals and i have a few weeks before summer classes starts. As nintendo says it all comes to time management my man. Also bud helps calm the nerves and helps studying...well thats just me though

Yah, and U.P would shut u down in two weeks tops lol. It is a highly controlled zero tolerance college. I heard of stories back in the day when it was a fun place though, just I cant get none of that! Man, I had a blast at my boys college in Buffalo when I visited, none of that here. And too many crazy(u-no-want!) girls to ruin any fun.

You have no idea man, a friend came here to visit for a lil. He was like "WTF DUDE" I drove by your college twice and didnt even know it! You have no bars, no clubs, and U.P all over the place! To top it off, your in the middle of no-where! My advise, this isnt a place to have fun, its to get my degree and lol. But the education is pretty damn good on the bright side !

Had to give that stuff up man when I came here, bad timing especially since it woulda helped lol. But now I soon expect to be taking drug tests for my internship I get.

Yeah I do, hence the avatar lol. There isn't much to do here, but there is enough to keep me busy when I can have fun.

Funny thing about having a major worth something...My neighbors are agriculture kids and they start playing corn hole (and drinking) anywhere from noon-2pm until 2am basically every night.

Hang in there. I also suffered through college. My favorite saying was...

"They can make me go to school, but they can't make me think."

.... and after working with highly educated idiots, I still believe it.

I think college town isolationism should be measured by how far away your nearest WalMart is....

My college was 40 mins away from the nearest walmart haha

, I think that everyday lol, but mostly regarding students, most seen like their mental growth was stunted somehow . For the most part, the teachers are pretty smart n helpful though. Great education, poor location !

If you came here, you truly understand the word boredom! My semester is better in a big way though, a friend of mine gave me a TV , for 2 yrs. all I had is the internet on my computer to kill time on my own, here, even that can get boring . I usually try to kill time with friends though to help cope lol. Other then that I try to keep busy with my car and my highlight of the semester for short periods of time is to go racing!

saying you are a communications major, is as good as saying you are pre-med or per-law. it means absolutely nothing, thats why he is a partier, his degree will make a nice poster. thats about all a communications degree is good for

It is depressing, i think about it every night before i sleep and get reminded every morning I wake up lol. I go home in like 3 weeks, looking for a project car right now as well . Thought I found one but I realize it'd be too much for what it is. I made friends with someone that has a warehouse (literally) of project cars and hope to find something there ! Also going to wrap up my projects on my car. Things will be much better after I leave!
