That is awesome. Btw did you see my status about the evo's loosing control in the snow ? Some of those guys replying could really give you some good advice. One competes in time attack and auto x with his evo x, and another is making like 700awhp lol.

dont lie to yourself. 350whp is going to feel slow after a month or so. then you say ill be happy with 400 then 450 then you realize oh god I need suspension sways airducts for the brakes track pads and so on and so on.

hahaha. yeah, but since the car is new and under warranty, i just want a slight bump in power and ill be good with that for a few months or more. i want to be able to go back to the dealer if any probs pop up, w/o having to replace a bunch of parts back to stock. i know i can get close to 400 awhp w/o changing anything serious.

oh yeah you could get there depending on the dyno. I would recomend getting tuned on a mustang or any other heartbreaker dyno. Even though you my not have the numbers to throw around you will be able to out perform them on the street. Im sure phil could confirm my car seems a bit strong for the 290whp I put down.
i still see the same title? and yeah, im getting tuned this week at cobb, and when i move to CO at tobz, and they both use mustang dynos. so i guess i can somewhat compare #s to you.. i have a feeling i asked for your mods before.. but what did u have again? and what was ur baseline? my bad if im making u repeat ur self.

Definitely next time, and yep that's how it goes lol. My subbie is already getting prepped to go under the knife.

You definitely can fp green and your good to go, if you get a red or black it will have issues. Hold onto your warranty though, if your a true manual you will indeed have clutch issues.

oh yeah changing the thread title for you
Indeed, his car has a perfect powerband. The other thing remember is evo x's are heavy pigs lol.
im trying to do w/o swapping a turbo or any factory component really. until my weak ass 3 yr warranty is mostly up. and yes my car is heavy as FUKKK. took a 511 mile trip this past w/e, averaged 16.5 mpg for the trip. yay.

edit: i see the title change.. LOL. on the side..
I am just gonna post up my dyno chart mods are underneath. I dont have a baseline cause I was tuned before by Dave brown from PSA

Ill let you know when I am going and thanks man yeah my car weighed 3200lbs with a half tank of ga, spare tire, jack, craftsman tool set and my old STI seats now replaced with the recaros.
dat torque!!! seems like it would drive real smooth with that curve. i hope mine gets a decent bump from just the tune. the car is somewhat lacking in power, says my butt dyno. prob cuz it weighs a fukk ton.

oh yeah the torque is what makes this so much fun.
thats not you right? that vw had no chance. lol. i talked to cobb again and finalized the deal with them. getting a tune for $200 as well as the previously mentioned AP for $300. ill take vids of the runs and post em once i get back. im hoping for atleast 270 awhp with just the intake n tune. well see... hope i get a fat band of useable torque like ur graph.

Yup thats me and my buddies GTI. I stuck the go pro on his car cause we both knew the outcome. He is stage 2 with a custom tune and his car pulls pretty good just has some traction issues. Here is the highway roll. Throw them in hd.

damn, ur car runs good! i've drove GTIs before and i remember them having a fat torque curve too. u have a short throw shifter?
