Lately, Avengers and Cabin in the Woods were great. Snow White, kind of mediocre in my opinion. Nothing much good is out this weekend, except maybe Prometheus, but I have also heard bad things about it

I go to alot of advanced screenings and the last one that I saw was "Rock of Ages". It was pretty good for a musical movie, alot of the older rock songs had ppl singing, Russell Brand/Tom Cruise/Alex Baldwin all were pretty funny too.
Next, Ill be catching "TED" on thursday, which I heard was pretty good.

seems like people either like or hate prometheus. i still wanna see it

i really hope TED is as funny as it looks in the previews

I thought it was ok, it left alot to be desired, it just started off way too slow it had some ppl sleeping.

finally saw Battleship and Prometheus

battleship was a cheezy movie but i kinda liked it. i could watch it again if i saw it on tv.

i feel with prometheus i wasted my time watching it. they tried to make some deep spiritual/god meaning of life stuff and fell flat imo. they didnt explain the point of the movie too well in the beginning and didnt really lead to anything til the very end. and all this crap happens 80 years from now too?

Prometheus wasn't a bad movie. I liked that they tried to make it all about god at first, just to find out that there isn't a god and we have just been lucky to not be destroyed as a failed experiment.

it just failed at whatever it was TRYING to do. it had too many stereotypical characters. i was waiting for some aha moment and it never happened. there were actually a few deep thought lines with david and the doctors but that was it. i was thinking DAVID was going to be some kind of CREATOR of his own. he seemed to have his own agenda the whole time then didnt. they left it open ended but i doubt there will be a sequel. not a bad movie just wasnt really worth my time after seeing it. i coulda watched the movie on FF and got the same enjoyment out of it.
