And doing that is half the price of the borla exhaust...the cut-outs are $600....

Congrats Adam! Definitely a nice pick up for sure! I definitely love the R-Spec, but I would gladly take the smoothness and comfort of either the gas friendly V6, or the V8--either way, win win.

Honestly I would just add some wheels, tint and focus on maintenance. Once you start on the exhaust, you're going to add an intake and it'll go down hill from there.

Hahaha thanks man. I have a really radical design for the wheels. I'm going to plasti-dip certain parts of the wheels. Remind me to photoshop them and show you guys! Lol

I don't see anything wrong with the way those taillights look.

Here's my take if I had that car...

Lowering springs
Tint
& whatever subtle aftermarket pieces there are lol

I've always appreciated the mods folks do - well, the reputable Mon-rice variety mods. Especially for a learning/educational standpoint. That being said, you all know for my rides I'm an OE guy.

Finance has a lot to do with it, as I spend my money elsewhere. The key for me is finding/having a car that looks, runs, and feels great to drive as it is, with only a few (aforementioned) subtle tweaks.

Of course not all cars (very few) are obtainable that are close to how folks want them - hence the whole modding culture.

My Alty satisfies me enough without extensive improvements, and I think your Genesis is quite close to an idealogical example of just that - pretty damn close from the factory to where I would want it to be.

Bastard

Sent possibly from the shitter on my HTC EVO, bizneeaatch...

I'm not a particular fan of the Genesis sedan or any other Hyundai models, but at least it's a very nice upgrade in terms of overall equipment and amenities. I'd say do whatever you want with your ride. Just leave those tail lights alone on your new car for once.
