Thanks for the sig, Hazmat!
They might have "become" other cars, but I want the original back. Look at the SHO - The original was a relatively light family sedan with a 5-speed manual, and a Yamaha-built, high-revving V6 powerplant. Now it's a big, bloated 4600lb boat. Yeah, it's twin turbo and all that, but it HAS to be or it wouldn't move.
A few more:
Taurus SHO (love this one!)
Mercury Marauder
Lincoln Mark Series (my personal favorite is the VII, but I'm biased. Make it like the TwinPower concept though)
Plymouth Prowler (with a proper powerplant)
Ram SRT-10 (let's get an Allison 1000 in there this time)
Subaru SVX
Subaru BRAT
SAAB Viggen
Vector W8 (not sure why I like these, but I do)
Honda CRX (a proper one, not this hybrid nonsense)
Studebaker
Oldsmobile 442 (I'd like to see this with a modern powerplant - LSA, perhaps?)
Pontiac GTO (let's give this one the LS9)
