My feelings:
1/ if Die Die had no rider he would have creamed Ghost.
2/ If both cars were auto and no passengers , this would have been a a real close match and possibly Ghost on top

I would really like to see an auto SE-R vs. Auto 350 Z race!! It would be damn close... I also would like to race an SE-R 6MT to see how that compares to ghost..
^ I'm pretty sure in all these scenarios, whoever won off the line would hold the lead <which would usually be the Z since it is RWD On another note...
Whats the exact weight of the SE-R???? I thought they were heavier than the Z, but I'm having a hard time believing that... base Z = 3188.. other models are 3250+ roadster is like 3500ish?
I will definately take back one comment I said a while back.... the Z roadster (convertable) would definately have trouble with the SE-R because of it's weight

I'm always a little scared when street racing, and don't EVER do it in big groups.. the more cars, the easier it is to get caught. Sorry bro. I was even scared today, cause I usually am really smart about racing (if thats possible) and like to do 1 or 2 runs, then find a new spot. We didn't know this area today so we got a lil risky and raced 6 times in one spot.. Thankfully ghost agreed to run a few more.. cause I Fed up 2 of the 1st 3 races, and would have went home a loser
i give carlos props though, he's got guts...and it just proves how consistant auto is, and that it's technically "better" for bracket racing.
as for beating a stock Z, nah...dont think so. i doubt it would even beat an auto Z. but definately be a closer race. maybe se-r only losing by 1.5 cars instead of 3.
anyhow...it's cool you guys did it. and got it on film, but in my opinion die die shoulda still walked with the 20 bones. 2 wins for ghost with die die winning 3 in a row kinda proves that once the z got his driving down you weren't doing nada.
at the end of the day though, a civic si woulda prolly beat the z if he's bogging out of the hole and missing gears...momentum is so difficult to make up. think im joking give a similar car the go, even if he's stock...it takes a while to catch them even if your modded. but you will catch them..trust that.
it will take 6mt vs 6mt and auto vs. auto to finally put this puppy to bed.
and im still wanting to see the outcome of my 3.5se vs the ghost!

thats exactly the way it should have been from the beginning. im glad you guys had a good time and everything went well. all that happened with the races was just how i thought it would "great job".....i know the alty is faster than what ppl think it was . point proven!!! even thought we know stock for stock the alty cant keep on par with a z, it damn sure shows when we throw a few bolt ons we can definately equal or surpass the z. its a good thing the alty takes so well to bolt on mods so great.

im not a hater and i completely agree with what he is saying. i dont think he was owned , but when you put it all down ....2 wins to 4 wins just solidifies the fact that the z is a faster car. hell the z owner had a passenger that weights 200+ lbs ....100lbs = .1 of a second. do the math thats almost 2 car lenghts right there for having a passenger in the Z. Die Die could have put more distance on him without the extra weight.
also a pop-charger is a little overated without other breathing mods to go along with it. makes sense , if you have more air going in but not letting that extra air going out it wont do much for you. i dont think the pop charger did anything for die die but gave him a little better throttle response (if that much). the altima responds alot better to wai/cai because our intake is sooo much more restrictive, the Z doesnt have that kind of problem from the get go.
hey ghost did you empty the car ? (spare, jack, etc?). that would have given you about a .1 of a second time make up . Die Die didnt , i was wondering if you did or not .

hey question for you ......how old are you ? you said in a year you would be getting an se-r ? are you 17? and 2 do you own a car at this present time ?
just wondering why you seem to be all over carlos' d*ck (no offense carlos), saying stuff like "race him and shut him up carlos"....why dont you race him yourself superskeleton and shut him up?
I doubt the 6 speed SE-R is much quicker than the auto, as the Maxima 6 speed versus auto have proven.
Its a lot easier to launch the auto.
As I stated before, at some point I think an SE-R will hit a 13.9, but not the 13.6-13.7's the Z is capable of, even with 2.0-2.1 60's.
I wish someone would take their SE-R to the track already!
That said, I am in the SE if anyone wants a friendly challenge at the strip.
I won't lose though, versus a stock SE-R, auto or 6 speed.
I also wish someone would post some stock time slips, I've been itching to see how close they are coming to a 13.9
i damn sure think the auto can hit anywhere between 14-14.4 and a 6spd can run a 13.8-9 at the fastest. i woud think with an intake and a catback (if some choose to do so ) could bring a 6spd se-r on par right with a 6spd Z.
Make no mistake , dont sleep on any of the altima owners. sh*t right now im running h/e/i and im sure that i can run with or even take a stock z.
i am one of 4 members on here that have beaten an se-r (auto) with just a cai and catback in my auto.

Im not surprised at all. My brother has run about 6 different 350Z's in his Maxima and has never lost. It's always a real good match and I have a video of an example.. I cant remember if I posted it or not. Speaking of videos, hurry up and upload that sh1t
