2006 Passat 3.6 VS 2002 Altima 3.5

I was driving home today when I noticed a brand-new bright red Passat(still with the shipping white paint protectors on) zoom into traffic. We made eye contact and waited until traffic cleared to have a go. Started at 80, up to 100 I pulled 1/2 a car on him. At 125 I had 1 1/2 cars on him. He then hit the next exit and he just kinda threw his hands in the air. Either he was out for a spirited test drive or he worked at the VW dealership. For 280hp vs my 3.5 I wasn't too impressed. Not sure if he was auto or manual. Mine is an auto with JWT intake, advanced timing, grounding kit, custom catback with magnaflows, pro-kits and lighter than oem 17's. I also had 7 bowling balls in the trunk with about 1/4 tank of gas left. Nonetheless, a fun drive home today.

Good kill, I think the new passats are about 300lbs. heavier than a 3.5, that pretty much eliminates the HP difference.

Thanks, I bowl league on Tues. night and I didn't take out my bowling balls last night when I got home. My mistake, it was only 5 balls not 7 and at 15lbs each....another 75lbs and I still won.

We had 4 lanes to play with and we waited until there were no cars in the far 2 left lanes, lucky for us we had about a mile of open stretch to let it loose....
