Capitol Raceway - KeVQ35 & vqaltima

Went to Capitol Raceway this past Sunday 3/19/2006 and met up with vqaltima (Tony). Tony had some issues with his car, so I gave him a chance to run mine. Also saw another Silver altima - QR25DE and exhaust with black rims (automatic) - ran a best of 16.3 that day with a 2.3xxx 60ft.

Mods are just AEM CAI & custom Magnaflow Exhaust (20" resonator - 5x8 muffler and tips)

Traction was terrible that day - temp was around the high 30s to low 40s with a nasty crosswind.

FULL TANK OF GAS

1st run - launched @ 2000rpm (spun all of 1st) - tire pressure @ 30psi
60' - 2.992
330 - 7.491
1/8 - 10.853 & 74.13mph
1000 - 13.716
1/4 - 16.116 & 94.81mph

2nd run - launched @ 1500rpm (spun to 3000rpm then hooked) - tire pressure @ 20psi
60' - 2.311 (getting better)
330 - 6.439
1/8 - 9.781 & 72.89mph
1000 - 12.634
1/4 - 15.028 & 94.35mph

3rd run - vqaltima launched @ 1000rpm - tire pressure @15psi
60' - 2.156
330 - 6.052
1/8 - 9.223 & 77.79mph
1000 - 11.978
1/4 - 14.302 & 97.86mph

4th run - vqaltima - tire pressure @ 15psi - misshifted from 2nd to 5th then back to 3rd
60' - 2.309 (spun a bit)
330' - 6.265
1/8 - 9.528 & 71.62mph
1000 - 12.656
1/4 - 15.228 & 89.77mph

Will scan and add 14.3 timeslip later to this thread.

Yeah. I finally blew the MAF up running without a air filter. I put a junk yard MAF on today and I got a new K&N filter. Thanks for letting me drive your car Sunday Kev. I will be running my car soon to see what the gutted cat and Mossy exhaust can do.

I have learned my lesson. I should have listened to you guys. My car still pulls good with the filter. I am a $150 shorter now.
