Ok I went out looking for rice but the ones I found were scared. I hooked up with Leathe as we both went out looking for rice but just got frustrated. So we decided to race each other. He has an 02 Altima 3.5 5MT. He wouldnt show me what he was working with before we raced. I knew something was up. LOL! He did tell me however that he beat a 350Z handily. We went from a roll at about 30 mph. First race he killed me cuz I was in the wrong gear and plus he was doing the honks. He pulled about 2 cars on me to about 110. Second race I had the right gear and got a good jump on the third honk got a little lead on him but by the time we hit 80 he pulled on me and basically we finished the race with my front bumper to his rear bumper. Then after the race he showed me what he was working with. He had XS Headers and a bunch of custom exhaust work. I still dont think that was enuff for him to pull on me like that. Albeit my SE-R is stock, Im supposed to have 20 horses on him plus I have an extra gear. Not to make excuses but I had some of my TA-50 in the trunk along with my intake that I have yet to put on and the spare tire. TA-50 is a name for the equipment we wear in the military. Anywhot, I got some redemption as I stopped back by the Krispy Kreme and saw a couple of 240's hanging out along with a Subaru SVX and a Scion TC. I had a quick run with a 240 KA24DET turbo on the highway and won. I slowed and he passed me and then I krept up on him again and we basically just ran at 90 until he exited. It was a fun night. There also was a 240 there with a RB25DET swap that just beat a 300ZX TT, I wasnt lining up against him. Oh by the way I dynoed my car yesterday morning too to see what the stock baseline was. It was a mustang Dyno and these number are more truthful so I was told. Usually yield less than a Dyno Jet. I ran 207 WHP and 211 TQ. That would have been like 215 WHP on a Dyno Jet estimating. As reference a 350Z ran 238 WHP and 218 TQ. He also would have had higher numbers on a Dyno Jet. Now let me go install this intake and see if that helps at all.

I'm actually pretty proud of this, but I didn't want to start a new thread to brag about it. Anywho I was at a light behind some Buick, and next to him there was an '06 or '07 Mustang GT with exhaust and rims. When the light changed I was able to get around the Buick and the Mustang had taken off fairly quickly but I was able to catch up to him pretty quick because he was going about the speed limit(50). The entrance ramp to I35 was coming up so I sped up but kept it in 5th gear, and when I started to pass the Mustang I heard him downshift and he stomped on the throttle and so I was like "what the heck" so I downshifted into 3rd and went WOT and even though the 'Stang got a jump on me I was able to keep right at his rear quarter panel just enough to keep him from getting on the entrance ramp. Even though he had to stay on the access road he kept accelerating and so did I, all the way up to about 90 or so and I still didn't notice him pulling on me very much. I was halfway hoping he'd catch up by the next on ramp but at the same time I'm glad he didn't because I figured he would be pretty pissed at me for 1. forcing him to stay on the access road(if he was in fact getting on the hiway, I'm not positive he was but he got over a lane when he sped up) and 2. keeping up with him in my little 4 door sedan.

mustangs are pretty fast , but its all in there 0-60 and rwd , mid-low 5 sec , they run 1/4's in 13.6-.8 @around 101-102 . there's a members on here that traps 100 mph @ 14.1 (with a 07 6mt) . so if you look the 0-60 gives them the extra 1/2 sec

i did a similar race with a friend who has a 06 stang convertible . 3rd gear highway pull , he jumped first (i react fast) and only got 3/4 length on me .

I do that daily, it NEVER gets old.

I have too many tickets, i'd rather just mess with people's heads. I save my hellacious driving for the drag strip and the back roads.

Yes that is my 1/4 in the Maxi, with a short ram intake, 350Z rims, and General Exclaim UHP tires.

It was about 11pm and i was driving 70 in the passing lane (speed limit is 60). I notice an echo doing its top speed in front of me (50 mph). "No big deal" I thought, its probably someone in an echo trying to go home faster. As I approach the echo from behind, I notice that it has a park bench and a yuban can. From that point on, I knew he was gonna pull some shit. I changed to the right lane to over take and he cock blocked me. "okay...maybe it was an accident, maybe he was moving over for me to get ahead." So I changed back to the left lane and tried to pass him again. Again he speeds up to cock block me.

At this point I thought "oh hell no....he's just going to keep doing it, Fck this." So I shifted into 3rd, made sure the 3 lanes to the right were clear, floored it and drove around his ass. He tried to block me again but he couldn't keep up in his little POS. After I passed him, I could tell he was trying to catch up with me because I could hear his straight pipe echo screaming and doing a blistering 60mph. I was at 95 when he disappeared in my mirror.

I don't street race, but if little POS cars piss me off, I will eat them alive.

So ive raced a few newer mustangs and won some and lost some but never have a got slaughterd... Untill now! I pulled up to this red light and saw a mustang out of the corner of my eye and did not pay much attention to it untill he reved up on me and then I just looked at him and gave him the nod and said lets run em... So the light turns green and I launch perfect but to my suprise the mustang flys by me like I am in a geo metro! I see the back and realize that it was a shelby and put my head down in shame and drive into a dark ally and cry.

nothing to be ashamed about ! so you raced a much faster car and lost , there's no shame in that . you win some you lose some .

p.s. for times like that you need to spray !!!
