The more the tires spin during your run the more it slows you down. You want to quick shift(slipping clutch) and dont really want the car to bounce like a mother.
In a month when i go back and take my fiance to video...i will show you how its done...with 13's :-p

Good luck with your 13's, you will need it.

Haha, yeah. I did claim some healthy times but came back with disappointment. Oh well. That's why you should always go to the track expecting crappy times. If you get crappy times, then so be it. If not, then you'll be happier.

Just curious leathe, where did you pull out that fake 16 second time from? Another time slip from a 2.5?
Your hilarious. You don't need to hide your car from us, we ready know what you have. I feel sorry for all the people that are going to race you in the future with your cosmetic mods. They really are going to think they are racing a 2.5 and suddently they get blown away.

Already blew away a RSX Type-S, older GTi and a Chevy T/D truck.
But I must say that truthfully speaking, the '07 is quite a surprising year. Low-14s @ 100+MPH stock (or near stock) from the 6spds and similar times from the CVTs as well. As much as I love my 2002, the '07 VQ is definitely a strong runner. As much as I may talk down on it, the results are there. Just watch out for those 2.5s, you never know when one of 'em will have a "surprise."

jkgultimate, you ever ride on Eagle F1 A/S? They're pretty new tires, came out last year I think. They are ultra high performance and rate great for handling as far as pretty much all seasons go. I don't want you to spend money on 4 of them and then not like them, but their profile looks like they mean business and in my experience they hook like crazy. Try Tirerack and see the reviews, I'd say they may be the tires you are looking for.
Later edit: they don't show on Tirerack for Altima, they may not be available in that size? Continental ContiExtreme is another that comes to mind, although some have said you may end up "cooking" it's winter properties by running them all year.
