so i went out to englishtown this past weekend for sport compact slam. it was pretty good, met some cool people, got some good runs in, and almost went deaf from all the puerto rican tuner cars that ran 7's all day!
anyways i hit a new PB time and i just wanted to share with you all. heres the details. i went up against an evo, and i did pretty well. dont mind the reaction time i was trying to get my 60ft down!
now judging by the 60' times and the MPH in the 1/8 and the 1/4, if me and this evo were on the street racing from a roll it would be a really close race, i might have even beat him...who knows?
but anyways, i had also ran my car at the track in november and judging by all the numbers from both of my runs, i was supposed to run a slightly faster time in november, that has to do with colder weather, but i ran out of gas in 4th gear. heres the run from november, you guys do the judging.

^^You heard me right lol. Chirp 4th gear (I do have a 6 speed I hope you know that and not a 5 speed). I can chirp 3rd gear with an Aveo (Tested it with my friends car). It all depends how fast you shift and plant it to WOT.
umm ok if you say so.. i mean im not saying chirping 3rd on an ave is not impossibble..ive chirped third on hyundai accents! but it also has to do on how wide or worn out the tires are.. i really doubt that with decent size tires and in good condition, on a DRY road, someone can chirp 4th gear..
i am rolling on kumho ecsta ASX all-seasons. they hook up pretty good. i slipped the clutch at 2700RPM.
i had 3 runs that day, all of them were 14 second runs. the first was a 14.9, the second one was the 14.2, and the third one was a 14.5. i was in the bracket racing and i got eliminated in the first round. i hate it when someone is on the verge of breaking their dial-in and then they slow down to stay in it, thats what happen to me, and the other guy crossed the line .08 seconds before me, i dial in at a 14.0 and he was at 14.8...bitch ass civics!
