Track Day and Finally did what I wanted to do!

Hey guys,

I went to the track on June 28th (last weekend). Why didn't I post this earlier? Because there are a lot of people that want TIME SLIPS so I had to wait until I can scan the bloody thing and post it.

I did several runs all of them ranged between 13.8-14.1 (all depended on the 60 foot times). I am not going to get into detail about all my runs.

Earlier in the day, I was posting slower times around 14.0-14.1@101-102 MPH

However, when the evening hit, the lower temps really helped me out. I was getting 13.9-14.0@102-103 MPH.

The fastest Trap speed I got was 103.18 MPH, but I messed up with the launch and pulled off a 14.017.

Anyway guys,

Fastest run to date:

R/T: .457
60': 2.243
330': 6.001
1/8: 9.155
MPH: 81.35
1000: 11.953
1/4: 13.851
MPH: 102.91 MPH

Modifications: Fujita Intake, Y-pipe, Two Magnaflow mufflers, customer ram-air duct coming from the grill.

and for the non-believers:

Time Slip:

20`s will slow you down BIG time.

You will be a bit faster with the 18`s.

Nice runs man!

Nice to see the comparison against the 08-09 Accord V6 6MT.

We just had a guy on our site run 13.6,13.7,13.8 @103.87 and 104.02MPH with just Injen CAI and homeade Test pipe. He dyno'd 282WHP and 249WTQ. He had 2.160fts.

Thank you very much.

I think I pretty much maxed out what my car can do with street tires.

Shaving off .2 to 60 foot will get me around 13.3-13.4,

Thats a different story though lol.

Only thing I am going to do now is get some kind of tune whenever it comes out. I think I will be done modding this car after that tune.

I think with his 60 foot times, I would mimic his times.

Not to mention my track has an elevation of 1300 feet .

So he gained 35 WHP with just an intake and test pipe? I know that they dyno 239 WHP stock.

I think you would mimic those times too with a 2.1 60ft. I don't know what elevation his track is at. He lives in quebec and goes to the track there.

I couldn't believe he gained that much power! Must be really restrictive stock!

The altima V6's seem to have alot of restriction too and gain lots of power with basic bolt-ons.

I have to be honest VTEC does alot more work than the CVTC in the Altima's do. But I still think the VQ is a better powerplant because if the VQ had Intake and Exhaust timing with duration and lift we'd have quite abit more power, but the heads and cams that mimic the VQ35HR are already a nice bonus

oh JKG has already beaten those cars and I plan on beating the one I lost too before after I get my Y-pipe in even though I still think he is stock.

Also test pipes would free up a LOT of power thats getting rid of TWO cats, with just replacing one its a 14whp gain for this car.
Grats on the times! Not even the G37 should give you much trouble with times like that.

I'm sitting on 272whp/250lb-ft of torque from my dyno. So thats not far off from me, similar dyno's were probably used.

If he's making 282whp on a dynojet which is the norm, than he's making about 330bhp which I just can't see with those 2 mods.

Lots left on the table with those 60' times...2.05-2.10 and you have a 13.5 run...
