altima vs cobalt SS

so tonite i raced my first superchared/turboed cobalt ss. i was coming home from walmart and was at a light, started driving and saw/heard this car whistle and zoom past me. havent really raced in a while so i caught up with him at the next light. wen light hit green we were off. he got the jump but i happend to be right there with him and i started pulling on him, around 3rd he started reeling me in but he couldnt get past my rear door .

2nd race was from a 30 roll. i got him this time and he was right there with me n i started to pull away and he stayed with me again at my passanger rear door. i shut it off around 115ish. wanted to pull over to say wats up but he ended up just zooming right by me. overall i was very pleased n kinda happy that i did that well against him.

Well which one was it? A supercharged one or a turbo one? Big difference in power...The supercharged ones were only 205hp and the turboed ones are 260hp...

Doubt it was the turbo, those things are pretty quick, unless he was a horrible driver. Either way congrats on the W.

Def was the supercharged one. Turbo woulda walked you n slapped u silly.

Good kill.

My friend had the supercharged cobalt n dyno'd 220whp stock. They were under rated.

Gotta aggree, a roll race with a turbo ss is gonna be real hard for you to match it given how much it traps in the 1/4. A supercharged one would fit the story allot better, good kill.

The turbo ones almost dyno what they make at the crank (under-rated again lol).

They trap 104MPH +

nice job on the win. There's a turbo SS at my work and I want to talk to the kid and see if I can get a run with him. Don't care if I lose, i really want to see how fast it is from a roll.
