For sale is my beloved 2002 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE. It is fully loaded with power windows and seats, leather interior, sunroof, climate control, a Bose 6 disc in dash stereo and XM radio (you'll need a subscription). In March 2009 the engine was replaced by a reputable Nissan shop in Jacksonville (Z Excellence). The replaced engine was from a 2003 3.5 SE with 70,000 on it (another 5HP in the 2003 to bring it to 245). The car drives great. The engine came with a 1 year warranty and is transferrable to the new owner . Overall the car is in nice shape. The interior is clean and the seats have no tears. The chassis has almost 117,000 but the interior shows no wear.
The car has been updated with new struts, shocks and springs. The shocks and struts are KYB GR2s which are an upgrade over stock. Along with the install, I had a set of 2005-06 Altima SE-R springs added to tighten up the handling. A 4 wheel alignment was done 3 weeks ago. I have nearly every maintenance record since purchase in 2003 (25k on it when purchased, I am second owner). I have always done my best to have it maintained on a proper basis. The engine going out is a fluke (screw from butterfly valve came off and tore up 2 cylinders) and there should be MANY more quality miles to go on this car. It is painful for me to sell it but having 3 cars is a luxury at this point.
The brakes were done in 9/08 and the battery is fairly new. I installed a K&N air filter 30k ago…this will last for life. (it has a lifetime warranty and it includes the cleaner and oil). I had Llumar tint added to the windows right after I bought the car. The tint has a lifetime warranty which I have and will be included along with all of the records. The exterior (paint, doors, etc.) is marginal. There are a few scratches and (8 or so) dings on the passenger side door (dent wizard can help). The car could use a solid buffing and just an overall DEEP detailing. There are paint chips on the hood (it is black so yes, you can see them well). It is not show ready but it can be cleaned up. The wheels have some curb rash but still look OK. (no clear coat peel). The tires are in decent shape. The fronts have 8/32 left and the rears have 5/32. Rears will need to be replaced within a year. This car is solid, very fast, well taken care of and will be a great daily driver for some lucky person.
