Piggy Back vs. Rom tune

i have an S-AFC, plan on getting a bigger turbo(t28), if my motor(s13 sr20) is pretty much stock (some bolt ons) and i get the bigger turbo...how much of a difference will hookin up the S-AFC and tuning it up make? will i see a big gain in hp?

and in the long run, is it better to use a piggy back, or tune the ecu itself? or does it matter?

thanks.

With an SR, you'd be a fool to NOT run a JWT or Enthalpy ECU. They are set up to run right out of the box, with no tunign required. By the time you get your SAFC, and have it tuned, you'll have spent more than an ECU and you may not have near the tune that the ECU does.

Another advantage of the ECU, is that when you max your system or change it, all you need to do is send it in and get another one back...100 dollars I think is all they charge, which is still less than retuning a car alraedy on SAFC.
