This sucks, people that shelled out extra cash for their bullshit packages should get the fogs.
Styling/Functionality
Aluminum hood
Automatic on/off headlights [CP]
High Intensity Discharge (HID) xenon headlights [PP]
Fog lights 2
I was just looking on the Nissan website and under fogs for the 2.5, if you click on that number 2 on the website it says:
2 Requires 2.5 S Convenience Package. Late availability.
That means the 2.5S coupes w/ convenience package on the lots right now have fogs. That sucks.
at least you folks can get fogs. It doesn't come with any of the Hybrid packages, even the tech package. As a matter of fact, you can't get HIDs either. I tried to find where there would be an inordinate draw on the hybrid battery, but I'm seeing little to no effect on that, so that really bugs me. Oh well, going to do it all by hand sometime in the next two months and make a write up

adding fogs
I have a 2008 2.5 S Manual Sedan. If I checked it right then I do have pre-wired fogs. Is that diagram good for 2007-2008? I had to remove a white plug and I saw the pins that a wire would/could hook into. I at the 86/87 location. I assume that is pre-wired?
So, at this point I need to just install the switch and some fog lights and hook the fog lights up to the 86/87 pin and I'm good to go?
Basically if you run two wires by yourself from fogs (aftermarket or OEM) to pin 86 and 87 (left/right fog) through factory wire holders. Then replace switch with it should work as designed.
Had to bump. Just ordered the OEM fogs off ebay, and will need this post handy when they arrive.....
Basically ground connector can be attached to any bolt which is tie to metal. It can be on engine or vehicle body or run wire directly to battery. May be good thing is to locate where headlamps connect its ground. If you want to do it as factory install you will have to run wire to engine harness itself, but it will be more work to do. You can trace the harness and locate where ground is connected. It should be on both sides of the engine room on the top. If you need picture I can send it to you.
yeah can u send me pics of where the harness is located..because I have the 3.5 and its prewired but i just cannot find those harnesses at all...pics would be great thanks....

The passenger side one is near the windshield washer fluid tank the other one I don't know because I didn't look for it.
How to check, that your car is prewired for fog lamps.
1) Open Realy/fuse block (IPDM E/R in engine room)
2) Locate connector showed on picture
3) If you have wire connected to pin 86 and 87. That mean your car is prewired.
Have fun!
Let's say if my car prewired (08 altima 2.5 SL Canadian Model) do I still need the switch or stalk? Where can I get them and how much they go for? Thanks....
