You don't need acetone top remove the excess. Just warm it up in the oven for about 5 minutes then use a flathead or small knife top dig out the excess. You want to use as few chemicals as possible to prevent damaging any painted surface

That's what I will do then.Tooslow one question. When you buy the projectors there is a thick white plastic washer that comes with it.I was told you should put this on the projector before you mount it because it helps absorb impact. Is it really necessary to use this item? because the way my holes are dremeled i wouldn't be able to get the projector through them.

Yeah, I have been using a heat gun on high (1000 degrees so it says) and using needle nose pliers to dig out the adhesive.

You don't need top use that thick one. We are limited in space so I don't use it. Do far no problems

Just an idea, if you have the money, buy an acrylic ring to go over the led ring so you can't see the naked bulbs when they are turned off. I think it be clean as hell

Looks good, to bad they aren't black. The white just looks like it doesn't belong in that headlight housing... But maybe a ring would help..

Yeah black two-tone is nice but I'm trying to be a little different here.So many guys are doing that and black everything out. This is a different direction and trust me in it's going to be worth it!
