I was really impressed with the output of the XB rings. I just don't like the yellow color you get if the rings aren't hidden. I'm sure a couple layers of tint spray will hide the color, but not sure how much it will affect the output of the lights. And they are too expensive for me to mess with if i can't get the tint off smoothly if it doesn't look right.

Hmm interesting I may experiment with your method. My work wont really start until next week tuesday! Internals should be here from TRS then. I will do some priming and painting tomarrow though!

Yea, if I had the cash I'd snatch em up and send em off to GreenKouki for the shield adjustment and bi-xenon conversion. Then start my new quad setup complete with LED side-markers.

I got work to do later! XB led rings came in, projectors, ballasts, shrouds etc.
Now i see what Tooslow was saying about the yellowish cover they have! TRS needs to design XB halos with smoked covers, it would be much better. Im going to have to mount these rings behind the shrouds the way he did!

Matt@TRS has already said they are working on diffusers for the xB rings. I do know that SuperBrightLED's sells diffusers as well too.
