Those look sweet! Can you post some pics of how they look on the car in the day (want to see how visible they are when they are off in the day).
Thanks
as far as where i picked it, theyre physically hidden by the bumper. you have to stand about 10 feet or so to even see the light output of em.
here they are plastidipped to hide the circuitry, and vht tinted to hide the yellowness(which is what i regret doing)
theyre not very bright anymore with the tint, they dont even give off any glare

So they aren't very bright? They look bright in the night time photo..
How did you wire them?
with the tint theyre not. without it they definitely are bright! if you can, you may want to return the strips you bought.
the strips i used have 3 chips in each led, so it is the equivalent of a 45 led strip.
google the differences between a 5050 smd, and a 1210(or 3528) smd.
as for wiring, i just tapped into the positive of my parking light, and grounded to a random bolt in the engine bay. then i just snaked the wires down through the bottom and out the front. very EASY to do.
Well I did a test fit with mine.. Just sorta laid them in the track / gap.. I think I may do it this way as the strip fits almost perfectly in there and there is only 3 extra to snip off..
Now, if someone would just post where I can tap into an ignition wire in the engine bay!
except i ordered mine off ebay.
pretty much the same exact thing, but at a greatly reduced price. ~$4 for a pair. now just to wait for them to come in
on ebay search for: 5050 smd strip, then sort by price and you should start seeing them
as for wiring, im not sure how it is on the sedans. but on the coupe, the parking light is the only light that is accessible without having to go through the tire well or removing the bumper.
Just did mine.. I like how it came out.. Not sure if I can get ones that are brighter though.. I wired them so they come on with the car and go off when the headlights come on..
I'm going to be brutally honest here. I have not seen a single A/M DRL that I even remotely like.
If the car isn't designed to have them...don't try to add them. Sorry guys.
The reason Audi/Mercedes LED DRL work so well is that they have a housing for each LED making them like little reflector headlights. There is no way to emulate that, honestly.
